Sonshine TEC (To Encounter Christ) is a Catholic retreat ministry focused upon young adults of the Archdiocese of Miami and the Diocese of Palm Beach. Two TEC retreats are held each year: One on Memorial Day weekend in May and the other on Labor Day weekend in September.

Who can make a TEC?
Young adults ages 18 to 35, married or single.
What time do TEC Retreats Begin & End?
Two TEC retreats are held each year: One on Memorial Day weekend in May and the other on Labor Day weekend in September. Please view your specific event to see exact start and end times.
Registration usually begins on Saturday mornings (it is very important that you arrive on time).
The retreats usually end around 5:00PM on Mondays. It is important for participants to remain at the retreat facility for the duration of the retreat.
What should I bring?
Comfortable casual clothes with nicer clothes for Mass (1 night).
Personal toiletries & towels.
A bathrobe. Men's and women's restrooms and showers are located on separate areas.
Sheets, pillows and pillowcases.
It is a retreat facility, not a spa. Sleeping is dormitory style, 4 persons per room.

DIRECTIONS:
Take the SW 152 Street exit off Florida's Turnpike. Go east to 112th Avenue and turn right (south). Pass Christ the King Catholic Church on your right and continue south to the entrance of the facility, which will also be on your right.
How much does it cost?
$150.00 ($50.00 deposit + $100.00 retreat fee). You must first apply & register to the event, and purchase your DEPOSIT ticket. Once your application is approved, you will be notified so that you can submit the remaining payment due.
What is your refund policy?
The $50 deposit is refundable only if notice of cancellation is given at least two days (48 hours) prior to the retreat. The purpose of the deposit is to purchase food for the retreat. If you do not arrive without prior notice, your deposit cannot be refunded. All applications are not considered final until your deposit is received.
